IQ - "Hey, you look like...."
Well, kids, as we're coming up to a gloriously long weekend, I wanted to leave you with an Insightful Question to ponder/reply to/ignore.
Cute Blonde Boy offered this one up, and I think it's an interesting one:
What celebrity have you been told you resemble? Or who do you think (or wish) you resemble?
As for me, I don't think I've ever been told that I look like a celebrity. I get a LOT of "You look like my 2nd cousin", or "You remind me of a girl I knew in high school". But "Hey, if you had a mole, you'd be the spittin' image of Cindy Crawford!" has never brightened my day. And you know what? Don't care.
Besides, I'm dating Kiefer Sutherland. ;)

I have been told (more than once) that I look like Whoopi Goldberg. I don't think I look like her at all.

My sister told me I looked like Ralph Machio back in the Karate Kid days.
Besides being told I look like Kiefer (which, if you compare pictures of us side-by-side, with the correct poor lighting and squinting, I might), I've also been told that in this picture I resemble Val Kilmer's "Iceman" of Top Gun. Who would I like to resemble? How 'bout Brad Pitt? Sure, why not?
Well, like you Pam, I've never gotten such a comment but I do get rather frequently, "You look familiar." "Did you work at..." "Did you live..." etc. etc. In fact, funny you brought this up, had a (male) customer come in this morning who at first stared at me in wonder and then said, "You look familiar."
I've gotten this from all sorts of people in every single state & city I've ever lived so I have come to the conclusion that I have a doppleganger out there somewhere.
But I've always thought it'd be WONDERFUL to have someone think I looked like Juliette Binoche!
CBB looks like Stephen Koch. Patrick knows what I mean.
Blossom. Pam always thought I looked like Mayim Bialik from the old tv show "Blossom". I too have a twin out there somewhere...

A long time ago, me and Jeff Goldblum had similar hairstyles and a lot of people pointed out the resemblance.
Curiously, his career kinda went down the toilet around that time.
If you're familiar with Billy Bragg, the British left-wing-but-crap folk singer, there's a photo of him on one of his album covers which looks so like me, it's downright spooky.
Bill, do you mean Stephen Koch, the snowboarder? If so, I hope you don't think I resemble him based on this picture.
Nah, he means Sven Koch a guy that used to work in a CD store with us. And he's right - you kinda do!
Yep. You look a bit like the snowboarder, too, judging from that picture...
